Center for Particulate & Surfactant Systems (CPaSS)
A Joint NSF I/UCRC between the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL and Columbia University, New York, NY
A variety of innovative educational programs targeted to faculty, staff, students and industrial researchers are designed to meet their educational needs. Specific goals of the center educational activities are:
- to engage undergraduate and graduate researchers in cutting edge research experiences guided by a multidisciplinary academic and industrial leadership team;
- to design and implement new, web-based learning materials targeted to undergraduate and graduate students and industrial scientists and engineers engaged in particles and surfactant science and technology;
- to develop novel experimental protocols related to innovations in particle and surfactant science and technology and integrate such materials into existing courses.
